Qatar plans to build Theme Park in the new Tourist Resort at Mesaieed

Qatar's Barwa Real Estate is currently conducting initial studies to incorporate a theme park into the designs for its new tourist resort at south Mesaieed, about 50 kilometres from Doha. Concept designs are currently being brainstormed and will be finished within two months. Once the detailed architectural designs are completed, construction is expected to commence within a year, putting the project on course to open around the end of 2013. It will be built in phases.
