New Logistics Port opens at Sir Baniyas Island

Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC), in coordination with the Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), has officially opened a new logistics port facility at Sir Baniyas Island in the Western Region. ADPC has been working alongside TDIC in order to develop the new port on the western side of Sir Baniyas Island providing state-of-the-art port facilities on the island. Now, logistics between Sir Baniyas and the mainland ports of Jebel Dhanna and Mugharrag Port have been strengthened. Goods and services transported between the island and the mainland will have easier access and benefit from the new and modern facilities. The Sir Baniyas Logistics Port is now fully operational with three roll-on roll-off ramps, a boat pontoon and a control office. It will be able to handle all TDIC construction materials and workers in a faster, safer and more efficient manner. It will also provide back-of-house operational support, thus ensuring the tourism continuity of the island.
